I am a certified Reading, Language Arts, and English teacher who has a current teaching license in Reading K-12, Language Arts 6-9, and English 9-12. I have been a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Language Arts teacher, an elementary school reading teacher, a middle school Reading Remediation teacher, and a 10th and 12th grade AP English teacher in the public schools for the past 16 years. In addition, I have privately tutored all ages and ability levels from Kindergarten through college in all areas of reading, English conventions/grammar, literature, and all types of writing. I am a certified tutor of Tutor.com, the tutoring service recommended by the Princeton Review Board. provided to military families internationally, and used by many universities. I have tutored everything from learning how to recognize letters to graduate level writing. I love tutoring! Having been in the classroom and been an experienced tutor, I really enjoy being able to help students one on one reach their goals: their reason for reading. We all have a reason for reading.
